After a little deeper dive Gibbs was a very aggressive play caller on defense…a lot of pressures. Something we haven’t done a lot of….UCF also held the big 12 in fewest passing yards per game and his secondary forced a lot of turnovers normally. Has coached DBs and safeties in his career as well.
Seems like great experience but still surprised BB didn’t go with a guy he already has a direct connection with. Any thoughts on an LBs coach?

Maybe he’s deciding to stray from the buddy buddy system. Find a fresh voice with tons of experience. Probably holds true too with LB opening.

He was Co-Dc and Ted Roof was just announced as DC at UCF 3 days ago. But yeah he will make good money here.
There’s a connection to the current staff.
Should be 4-2; I expect us to win all 4 home games. Odds are against winning at Nebraska, but it's not a huge stretch to think it could happen
