I'm probably the #1 Aidan Laughery fan on this board. He is excellent in open space and can make some cuts.
If your the #1 fan of Aidan Laughery, then I'm a close #2. I loved watching him last season and I'm anxious to see him play this coming season. I think with a little blocking from our o-line, we could have a really good running game this fall. I think we have a stable e of big and fast running back IMHO. Each with a little different style of running, (speed and power).
I think his route running has come a long way so far, especially with those sit routes where the receiver has to beat the zone coverage to the throwing lane. Needs to work on balance with the break routes if we don't want every corner to sit on the out routes. Hollins needs a lot more work, he's running too far out in front of his legs, and it's visibly throwing off his coordination (also some timing issues that were on the QB)
Needs to be coached out if Swanson not to throw that ball.

Marist is the original "ABI" school - "Anywhere But Illinois". I believe the last Marist recruit to play for Illinois was Mike O'Brien back in the 1990s.

Not necessarily so. In the new expanded big10 conference and playoffs, you could see two (or even three) undefeated big ten teams. Are we for sure having a big ten championship game now that the east-west divisions have gone away? How will the selection committee decide who is in and who is out? What if the two best big ten teams play each other and the 4th highest ranked team has a loss and another big ten team under a easier schedule is undefeated? Those rating systems might just pick who's in. Maybe i need educated on a new system, but this could be a ____ show.
