That’s exactly who I was referring too …

Bret could make Art the QB coach and then keep him around a little longer … Barry is going to get a job … It’s just matter of when … Having Art already on staff would really help that transition …

And he is also very, very good in recruiting …

I think this is a good possibility. Two guys in-house that could step-up and coach that room. Out of building options I've heard are Ross Kolodziej and Preston Gordon

I know he just got to Minnesota but wouldn’t rule out Kevin Kane here … Ross is a name I got as well …

I know Bret tried to get DJ Smith last year … Would not shock me a bit if he tried again …

Alex Panos and Trent Harris as in house options…If Bret decides to use the open position for QB coach than Art Sitkowski….

That’s if Preston Gordon didn’t burn a bridge…these are the names I got…

In house options: Trent Harris, Alex Panos…Art Sitkowski if Brett uses the position for QB coach….

Out of building options: Joe Bob Clements, Walter Stewart, James Ross III, Preston Gordon, Rory Segrest, Ross Kolodziej, Bam Hardmon and Chuka Ndulue

Promoting Trent Harris as OLB coach and bringing in Joe Bob Clements for a senior defensive role makes sense….

the only way its not is
1. if he is getting a raise (kinda doubt it)
2. if the general natural landscape around him is all that important - they beat us there hands down
as Indy has said, it appears it just wasnt working out for him and us

I like it. Learn the ropes from Barry for another year or two and then can slip right in as OC eventually.
