Which is the harder win? Indy on the road or OH at home?
For me, it's OSU at home, easily. Both will be tough games, but our squad doesn't seem like a team that will be detrimentally phased by a tough road environment ... after all, we beat Nebraska in Lincoln in primetime and at the VERY least looked quite poised vs. PSU in about as tough of an environment as anyone will ever see. So, I think whether we win or lose at Indiana, I am confident we will come ready to play and give ourselves the best shot possible.

Ohio State, on the other hand, is truly in another league talent-wise. Could we beat them?? Sure! Would a rockin' atmosphere at Memorial Stadium certainly help? Of course. However, I think a lot more would need to go our way to steal that win than to walk out of Bloomington with a W.

if Ohio St plays as well as they can , they will beat us . we need to catch them on an off day . it’s possible

in every other game we play , the only team that can beat us is ourselves

Including Duke?

If we beat Indiana, it will just confirm media belief that Indiana is who they think they are. If we beat OSU, it would be a huge victory with people wondering if Illinois is for real.
If we beat OSU, there won’t be any more wondering. Not after last year.

Our game in ‘22 may have turned out a disaster for that program.
Their then newly elevated AD, a former Badgers star, goofed when replacing the head coach, also a former Badger star, by not elevating the sitting Badger DC, a former Badger star, and going outside the family to bring in an Ohio guy enamored with the air raid offense.

Curious to see if the AD can recover from an unfortunate first football hire in the way that Josh W. has done.

If Bucky goes 5-7, again, does Jim Leonhard get invited back as HC?

If so, does he accept, or, tell the AD to go jump in the lake outside the student union?

Are you serious? Indiana may not even be ranked. OSU may be the No. 1 team in the country, has the best offensive and defensive player in the nation.
I agree that OSU will be the much tougher test, but Indiana will likely be ranked. They’re currently ranked higher than us in the preseason SP+ rankings and they’ll be 3-0 heading into our game.

Will last year's Homecoming uniforms be resurrected for this year's game?
