Putting him at te is a smart move. Anderson can still be an H back. They must like the two red shirt freshmen Rob. Plus we have some talent coming in as freshmen. The rb room will be stacked with talent.

Seems like common sense and reality set in for Fagin. He will flourish at tight end much more than RB . Dont Know if Jordan Anderson will be successful at running back . Im all for changing systems and personel. I think we had about maxed out in old one. Its been great past 2 years - 19 wins, but Im anxious to see if we can be better than that.

IMO, Feagin needs to improve his blocking. But he certainly has the physical gifts to be successful at it.
I think he has great potential to be an improved blocker when he doesnt have to worry about someone chopping his legs out from under him carrying the ball.

Feagin has speed and size but never developed balance/strength to power thru tackles like Josh McCray. Our lack of power back for 4th and 1 and red zone offense hurt us last year.

Playing tight end will get Feagin the ball in open field more where he can utilize his size and speed. He had 16 catches last year but was only playing 1/3 of time (rotating with Valentine and Laughery). Hopefully he will be clear best TE and get more targets.

I love Feagin at te. He’s a big target and we can get him the ball in space.
How are his hands and route running? We really didn't utilize him much in a pass-catching role out of the backfield. That said I do like the idea of him getting the ball when he's already near max speed rather than from stationary in the backfield. I also like the idea of him and Valentine being on the field at the same time

I would suggest that with all the eligibility changes he is very possibly going to get that 5th year...;)
well , “Dr” Solomon Tuliaupupu at U Montana got a 9th year ……

i mean , Feagin was hurt and on IR more during his first 3 years than he was healthy
