Good start for a change. Way too early. Keep it up, Illini.

Curious again. Being player #1 during a tournament. Does that mean you've been playing the best lately, deserve the honor? Later tee time? Or what? Thanks.

Great front nine...-7, struggling on back +6 with multiple double bogeys on par 3's.

Variety of things, I would bet there was some sort of qualifier this week and they played for positions. Trey has been solid this year for sure. But Max and Ryan have been clearly our best guys this year. Ryan led the team last tourney, Max the tourney before. Freddie the tourney before that. Ryan has the lowest stroke average on the year just beating out Max. Honestly, there isn't any difference if you are all starting on the same hole which they were in this one. I bet Small had a playoff for it.

disaster back there, Freddie went 35/41 with two doubles. brutal. Max's late double really hurt the team score.

Curious once more. Is Joseph Buttress still on the team? He's on the Illinois golf website roster. Anybody know? Thanks.

So far not good enough with the 4th score but very respectable in a loaded field. Goal today is obviously to claw ahead of Washington and take a solo 3rd. Can't see any way we catch Auburn or Virginia. They are lapping the field.

Two in a row where Max is off his game. He had a decent round yesterday but him and Freddie well over par today, Could've really used something around par from Freddie today, have to count a +4 is tough.

But lots of good happening also. Dane and Trey in the top 10 and good rounds today could get them in the top 5. Ryan is holding it together. something in the 60s would go a long way for his PGA U status. Gotta fight for to stay in it.

Final: Illini in 3rd, better than #3 & #4. Great finish!
