Coach Small preaches finishing strong....so of course he double bogeys the last hole to fall back to -1, 2 strokes out of lead. C'mon coach!😠
He actually started on 10 yesterday, so he followed his double with three straight birdies. That’s setting a pretty good example!

No air time for coach even though just 2 strokes off the lead
He was a few holes in when they cut coverage. Big wave of names were getting ready to start when they cut coverage. I love Small but I get them not covering him much as still early in the tourney and just shot par through 3-4 holes in when they left coverage. Play will resume on Golf Channel 3 hours from now(he will be done) and hopefully he does well today to stay in contention for the weekend so we can see him play.

I know Strick had a high pressure senior major in his home state last week where he finished second to the robo-golfer Langer, but it still would have been nice to see him hit double digits under par in his sleep at this week's JD event.

It would have also been nice for Coach Small to get in the field.

84k and change for 21st, had a very good last day...
also, and more importantly, got big fed ex points keeping him in the top 50, he was leapfrogged by 4 players at the John Deere and is close to the top 50 cut off. With the new changes getting into the designated events is going to just a cash windfall for these guys and top 50 fed ex secures it. Deitry is 51 so right there also.

Nick oddly enough is one of the huge benefactors from the LIV. With all the players above him leaving f the tour his 143 finish last year allowed him to keep his card and there is no way he would have if even half of the LIV guys stayed. Now with the changes and his great play this year he is in position to strike gold. he would have missed out on the tour this year and would be battling on the korn ferry if not for LIV. Maybe the only time in my life I have said something positive about the LIV.
