Eagle on 18.Hardy tied for first after three rounds (-16).
Maybe more importantly, the guy he is one in front of is already in the house after shooting 62. So, line in the sand has been drawn. Hardy cannot fade from here on out.Hardy just went to -19 and is in the lead by himself. I L L
Good question because this moves him up to 43rd on the Korn Ferry points list.Obviously this would be awesome for him to win this event but wondering if it changes his approach to the rest of the season? Would he try to enter more Korn Ferry Tour events to try and keep his card that way? Winning this doesn’t really help with trying to stay in the top 125 (I think) in earnings on the PGA tour.
I live in Greenville, SC and I have tickets to the BMW Charity Pro-Am. Hoping to see Feagles play a few holes. That is.............if I can break away from watching Larry the Cable Guy, Ken Griffey Jr. and Ozzie Smith (three of the larger celebrity draws this week). There are alot of former Illini playing this weekend.
Senior- Mike Small and Stricker. PGA- Hardy and Points. Korn Ferry- Feagles. Campbell and Guthrie are alternates in the Korn Ferry event.
Feagles with a pretty good showing on Day 1. He now heads to Thornblade on Friday and is line to make the cut at -2. Ozzie Smith is leading the ProAm!I live in Greenville, SC and I have tickets to the BMW Charity Pro-Am. Hoping to see Feagles play a few holes. I think he was in 78th place prior to this weekend. I'm assuming he now moves into the top 75Nick had a subpar Sunday(+1) to fall back in the pack. Sitting at 190 in FedEx standings...top 125 secure cards for 2023. Feagles with a -1 today on KFT...he's sitting 3 spots out of making finals. Top 75 qualify...he's 78.
As was posted on the Fighting Illini Golf Facebook page:Hardy, Pieters and Adrien (ADDC) all will be in the US Open this week. Feagles, Campbell and Guthrie will be in the Korn Ferry event this week in Wichita. The Senior Tour and European Tour don't have any tournaments scheduled.
