Looks like Tucson is one of the sites for the second round of the PGA qualifying. Any idea if any of the guys will be playing there? Maybe Feagles?

Probably a good chance you'll see Feagles out there. I think the players submit preferences, but nothing is set until they close registration after the final PGA Tour event. I'm sure he would prefer to stay close to home. Same for Buchanan at one of the Georgia sites and Guthrie in NE Florida (same spot he was medalist last year).

Nick Hardy and ADC are both in the field at the final PGA Tour event in Georgia this weekend. Hardy probably has to win to keep his card, while ADC gets a nice tune-up prior to rejoining the tour full-time in January. Times below are ET.

Nick and ADC both missed the cut to conclude the season. Nick finished at #175 in the Fedex Cup standings, so he'll likely be heading to the Korn Ferry Tour next season. Next up is the second stage of Q-School starting on 12/2, we should know who's playing where in a day or two.

Second stage of Q-School begins tomorrow, wrapping up Friday. There will be a handful from each site that advance to final stage next weekend. Additionally, the winner of each site gets a Korn Ferry Tour exemption - Luke Guthrie pulled this off last year, and is playing the same course this week.

Five Illini have entered - I did not see Nick Hardy on any of the leaderboards, so he is either exempt to final stage or is not participating. Three Illini are already in the PGA Tour for 2026.

this is what Nick has going forward: He’s got 4of 6 1st Korn ferry starts next year. He may play 2nd stage to improve status. Will play about 10 pga tour events also. All opposite field events

Dylan is in great shape after following his opening-round 68 with a 67. Currently 2 off the lead (and 4 above the cut line). Feagles is also inside the cut line at even par, looks like a tough course in Tucson.

big big day for many of our alums. Dylan has down tremendous work to get to where he is. Just has to keep a steady hand on the wheel and he will advance to the final stage. Feags was in great shape heading into the back and had a wicked bad three hole stretch. still above the cut line but has to stay solid. Guthrie and Jackson still within shouting distance but need a solid moving day. Timmy has to get hot or he is gonna miss. good luck to all

whew, Dylan was probably thrilled for play to be halted he is having a nightmare front nine. +6. not out of yet but he needs to settle overnight and get focused and claw his back for this third round.

Luke, Feags and Jackson all advanced to Final Stage! Dylan struggled, finishing with an 82 on what became the final round. Timmy also missed the cutoff by three strokes.

Play starts next Thursday; they should post the field over the next day or two.

What's at stake:

- Top 5 will get Tour cards. If there is a tie for fifth, a playoff will determine who gets the card.
- Next 40 (and ties) will get KFT status with guaranteed starts.
- The rest get status on the PGA Americas.

Round 2 in the books, and Feags is keeping pace! He sniffed -8 (and the solo lead) before a late bogey, but is very much in contention for a card.

Jackson was making a run, got as low as +1 before three late bogeys. As it currently stands there is a five-way tie for first at -7, making that the current cutoff for a PGA Tour card. The KFT cutoff (45th and ties) currently stands at -2.

Feags finishes the day tied for 1st but it is a hugely congested leaderboard. over 20 within two strokes. massiveopportunity today on moving day. I believe he needs another -3 under or so to stay in the race.

I don't know what type of status NIck has but he the top 40 of this get full status on korn ferry. He is in the realm of that.

Only one birdie on the day for Feags, who will have to go low to get a shot at a Tour card. Currently the PGA Tour cutoff is -10 and the KFT cutoff is -4, so hopefully he can at least hold onto the latter given he has no status. Jackson made a good run, he still has a shot at getting to the Korn Ferry Tour with a solid Sunday.

I'm not sure if the rule changes concerning PGA Tour cards affect it, but Nick should have enough exemptions to play a full KFT season next year (top 175, Tour winner). I think he was playing for top five.

Very impressive weekend for Jackson, who shot a pair of 66s to claw his way back to T42 and make the "next 40 and ties" on the number! Feags also stayed in the threshold, finishing T34. Both earned Korn Ferry Tour status next year, though will be subject to the second reshuffle (10 tournaments).

Hardy and Guthrie fell short, but will still have status on the Korn Ferry Tour next season.
 
Back
