Oh My God Reaction GIF
Imagine how good he can be at the end of the season at this rate of growth.
Especially after they trade White for a 4

I love it, but damn if I didn't wish they mentioned Illinois more. He's always been phenomenal, but even Ayo's said that Illinois is what got him ready for the NBA
I admit I was a little disappointed they didn't say "From the University of Illinois" when he was announced before the game. But in his post-game interview he was asked about his defensive mindset and he said "I just try to use my instincts. Me being at Illinois for three years, the whole coaching staff they instilled in me playing defense. That's why I want to hold myself on being a two-way player, etc. etc." Love that he was able to work Illinois into his comments!

He's just a born playmaker. For himself and others, he imposes an open structure on the game. Teams constructed the way the Bulls are (as more and more NBA teams are) will be lining up to pay him to do that for years to come, so long as he can prove himself enough as a shooter to not be a liability.

I saw an advanced metric site having Ayo at #15 amongst rookies. Big difference is Ayo is on a top 5 NBA team currently. He doesn't get the minutes he would if he was on a cellar dweller.

Bulls in a tough place where they are realizing Ayo is quickly developing and needs minutes. Coby needs minutes for trade value. Seems like notjing will happen until trade deadlines aporoach later.

I think I've watched one NBA game from start to finish in the last 15 years, and that was a replay of Kobe's 60+ point game or whatever which some network replayed after he died.

I may need to start keeping an eye on the Bulls schedule, though.

I usually save the game on YouTube TV and then start watching the game around 9 pm. I fast forward the game, but watch Ayo's minutes. Last night I had to watch the whole freaking game, but loved it lol!!!

Sitting behind bulls bench tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing Ayo triple double in person.
Cheer him on for all of us here at IL, please. Wear your Illini orange and yell, “:illinois:-L-L!” I bet Ayo acknowledges you!

Lonzo Ball on Ayo Dosunmu: “He got that swag to him. He’s very confident when he’s out there. We put 100% trust into him.”

I haven't watched a full game since probably 2012 but I've been watching almost every game so far this season. This Bulls team is very fun to watch and Ayo playing just makes it that much better. I recommend dipping your toe back in the water some good matchups coming up!
