Ayo looked pretty good, but have to remember he entered an exhibition game against Clev. with Bulls up by about 40. It will be interesting to see how many mpg he averages this year. I thought Ball and Caruso both looked good tonight. Unless Bulls deal White at some point, it sure seems like consistent minutes will be tough to come by. Still, good start for Ayo and Bulls.

Stacey King said last night that he believes Ayo will earn minutes with this team this season! Possibly 10 minutes or so a game. He also said Billy Donovan stated that out of all the new players that Ayo was the only one who seemed like he really belonged! He is a first round talent that they were able to get in the second round. Sounds promising for Ayo! I-L-L

Ayo looked pretty good last night. The problem is the Bulls have 50 guards on the team

Looking forward to seeing the Bulls play a better team and if their starters plus Caruso look that good vs. them. Caruso impressed me last night but it was just one game. They could be a really fun team to watch this year if you enjoy good ball movement, passing, etc. As others have said, was fun to see Ayo come in in the second half and play well, but not sure I see him getting minutes in the 8-9 man rotation.

Yeah, I’ve seen several articles with Donovan saying nice things about Ayo and don’t doubt Ayo is handling things well. I’d question the statement King attributes to Donovan unless by new he means first or even first and second year players cuz Donovan did not say that if including new players to Bulls such as Ball, Caruso, and DeRozan. So that means basically Ayo belongs more than Ethan Thompson? I hope he does being that Bulls drafted him and not Ethan. Don’t get me wrong, as an Illini and Bulls fan I hope Ayo excels. But still think unless Bulls trade White that minutes will be tough to come by. Sure Ayo could get 10 mpg, but people seem to forget that means on average 10 minutes in games they play. Most guys in the league that average about 10 mpg are doing so in half or fewer of a team’s games. That said, good start by Ayo.

I don’t watch a ton of NBA games, but in the games of his I saw last year I came away impressed with Caruso. I thought that was a sneaky good signing by the Bulls. Sure looked good last night, but like you said just one game.

For those living in Chicago, just saw that The Wieners Circle is all in on the new look Bulls and Ayo (OK, they didn’t actually mention Ayo specifically but we Illini fans know what they meant) that if the Bulls don’t make playoffs they will have a day when all hot dogs are free.

Stay tuned for more episodes of the Carushow. He's a straight baller.

I think this year will be a time for Ayo to work on his NBA game, second year he will need to show he belongs in the rotation. I think he can potentially have a game similiar to the Bucks player who played in the olympics. I believe Ayo will continue to get better. He is looking good, just the team has a crowded back
court.

The coach seems to want to really emphasize lock down D this year, so maybe he needs all 50.. also out of the 80 games, they would rest the starters against these dumpster fire teams.
