Ayo impressed me so much when he choose the Illini and stated all those good things about bringing the Illini back to prominence....

He is still impressing me at a higher level of competition with his work ethic , BB IQ and all around skill set......he is an ambassador for Illini Nation and an example of what hard work and a maturity level about his craft will help him achieve success.........

Proud of you AYO..................

Sure, it starts with the neck. But if you're not careful, you'll suddenly find yourself in long long man territory.

Holy cow that was funny. I just had to watch it until the end - and I’m glad I did.

Ayo is getting better quickly, he is no rookie. Hope ge gets 25+ minutes when everyone returns. PGs get paid more on average than SGs, Ayo making a name for himself as a stellar PG.

Bulls trainer like "Fletch who". Nice hops by Ayo.

How the hell was Ayo a second round pick? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Because there are tons of idiot NBA GMs scattered across this league.

They're all too focused on getting the "next great..." draft pic. Someone who's barely out of high school, has barely any college experience, and is all length and athleticism but screams "potential".

Just seems like very few NBA teams do any homework on the veteran players (like Ayo) coming out of college anymore. If you're still in college past your sophomore year, then in their eyes your a limited player with nothing to provide a team. It's just so ridiculous to me.

Gives me hope for players like Kofi.

Speaks volumes that the Bulls DESIGNED that clear out play for Ayo at the crucial point in the game.
The man’s stock just keeps rising.
I think Donovan was calling for Vuc screen but Ayo’s instincts just took over. Still says a lot that Donovan was going to let a rookie go on a P&R on a massive late game possession and trust him to make the right play. His stock is through the roof!

The NBA success is the continued sweetest cherry on top of the story of Ayo. Is he not the penultimate example of what Illini fans have clamored for in so many ways? A home state Chicago top-rated recruit who bucked the norm, spurned the other suitors, showed state pride, committed to returning us to glory, and... just delivered in every way that makes us all so proud!
