Bummed to miss him, but hopefully once he heals up he can find a role that is more than getting cardio in. He looked liked he advanced another level in summer league and the regular season has been a big miss so far.
It really is a shame Malcolm didn't get more of an opportunity in the NBA. In his limited minutes on short stints with the Hawks and Bulls he looked like someone who belonged, either towards the end of the rotation or as a reserve, but he was never quite able to stick. Now he just dominates the G League, which he is clearly too good for. Always seemed to me like the kind of guy who should just go thrive in Europe (where money can be better than G League) but for some reason that never worked out either (seems like that may have been his choice, but I don't know for sure).
