Yeah, that's not a great deal.Don't know if this is the best deal for Bulls but I don't mind them getting TSJ out of Minnesota.
Wow. I haven’t seen much video this season or last of Ayo but his physique is totally impressive from where he started.Closing minutes:
Kobe might be the best player in the trade, but he is also expiring. If they trade him they will be more likely to extend Ayo. They also get TSJ, which IMO ain’t nothing.Yeah, that's not a great deal.
Essentially 3 2nds and an expiring contract for a quality guard.
I just think that TSJ has a Ayo like transformation in him, once he gets injury free and on a team that gives him tick. He has the talent and the work ethic.Kobe might be the best player in the trade, but he is also expiring. If they trade him they will be more likely to extend Ayo. They also get TSJ, which IMO ain’t nothing.
NBA trades often boil down to money. The 26-27 Bulls will likely have either White or Ayo, but not both.
I'm not going to pretend to be an NBA expert, but we know Chicago values him more than most being a city kid and an Illini, and they're still looking for better offers...Kobe might be the best player in the trade, but he is also expiring. I agree they should move on from white but not Ayo
hate that he's likely leaving the bulls, happy that he's getting away from reinsdorff and likely to get paid big this off-season

Ayo has proven that he is a rotation player on any of the 30 NBA teams all of which would be glad to have him and as a Bulls fan I fear that he has established a higher trade value than the oft injured and ball dependent Coby White this season. But all of the Bulls guard heavy trades yesterday brought back to the roster guards with great offensive ability in the past and future potential who can't guard a lick on defense. Neither can Josh Giddey. The Bulls have one guard who can defend big NBA guards and that is Ayo. The Bulls also can offer the most money to Ayo after the season ends and a longer contract than any other team. He is the only guard on the roster who can cover up for Giddey's defensive limitations, while shooting a high percentage from 3 and who has a team first "chopping wood" attitude whether starting or coming off of the bench. Trade White, Jones, or any of the other new guards acquired yesterday but don't be so stupid as to trade the one guard on the roster who is already the perfect compliment to your $100 million point guard in Giddey. Pay Ayo his well deserved bag and your backcourt is set for years to come, especially in the last 5 minutes of the game which always seems to matter most in the NBA. Otherwise, just like in Oklahoma City, Giddey can't be on the floor at the end of the game. Build around Josh, Matas and Ayo as your core and good things will happen!hate that he's likely leaving the bulls, happy that he's getting away from reinsdorff and likely to get paid big this off-season

ive realized through the debacle that is the modern bulls franchise that i am first an Ayo fan and then a Bulls fan. he has more than earned his place in the league and i look forward to seeing him in a more suitable role (even if thats in the bulls but without high usage players that funk up the offense......)View attachment 47184
He deserves the best and I think that will happen...
And now he's Anthony Davis' teammate! Will Riley starting to cook the last 3 games for the hapless Wizards
Ayo really depends on the return. Bulls is kind of known for reluctance of trading away players so he better generates some value if tradede.I agree they should move on from white but not Ayo
Anywhere but the Lakers. If Ayo get traded, for one, I hope it's to my Lakers! But most importantly, since he'd no longer be playing for his hometown, I hope he changes his starting lineup intro to.........FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS........AYOOOO DOSUUUUUNMUUUU!!
