Not big scoring but 3-7 from deep, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, no turnovers. I think he is going to be just fine in the league.
The no turnovers part is huge. He has just one turnover in 81 minutes of play in the preseason games.

On the other hand you have a guy like Acuff who has had some eye-popping scoring totals, but also has turned the ball over 12 times in his 77 minutes of preseason ball. I only mention Acuff because a lot of terminally online Clipper fans were upset they drafted Wagler instead of him. I think Acuff is a good player and he'll probably get that cleaned up, but you're not going to be able to stay on the court very long if you're turning the ball over that much. Luka led the league in turnovers last season with 4 per game. Luka Doncic also averaged 33.5 ppg, 7.7 reb, and 8.3 ast. Darius Acuff is not Luka Doncic.

Yeah whatever on Acuff. Clippers chose Keaton. Period. To those terminally online Clipper fans, move on.

Keaton doesn't turn 20 till next February. Let that sink in. Yaxel is currently bodying NBA players and throwing out the "too small" emote. Keaton was getting checked full court by Yaxel and on switches by Morez (who had some insane measureables at the Combine). And he still kept us in the game. Same with his clutch 3 to cut UConn's lead to 4 in the FF. He did all this as a 19yo.

I am so, so excited to see his development. The fact he's already hitting Steph Curry / Haliburton -esuqe 3s is just scraping the surface. He had an awesome middy that was once again very SGA-esque. He's always had such a fluidity about his game. No wasted twitch or energy expenditure. Doesn't turnover the ball despite how aggressive Michigan and UConn were on him.

As his grown man strength sets in and people have to respect his penetration and playmaking that'll only further open up his offense. And I expect the lateral speed and physicality to improve as he spends more time with NBA trainers and dieticians. He doesn't strike me as a guy who has issues with process and discipline.

Watching Ayo and Keaton get meaningful tick in the NBA with a dash of TSJ as a sparkplug of the bunch will be fun. I also hope Will and KJ carve out roles on rebuilding teams.
