I never said we was unhappy. You can be plenty happy and wish you had made a different decision financially. Who hasn't done that before? I hope he makes as much as possible and eventually makes the NBA as he hoped he would when he bet on himself making a NBA roster.
Correct. But it's entirely possible he's happy with the decision even if it wasn't as good financially. That was my point.

There's a few people on here who have almost adopted an "I told you so" attitude toward Kofi as if less money for him would be proof that he made a bad decision.

A lot of assumptions about finances on here. He could very well end up making more money next year than he would have in NIL.

Lonzo had surgery again on his knee. Looks like Bulls made bad $80M investment.

More playing time for Ayo to develop.

Any info on what the current salaries are for our former Illini players now overseas?
Hard to find info on specific players other than the highest earners, because no salary cap means teams don't have an obligation to report, and interest in basketball salaries isn't has high as for soccer so journalists don't bother to track down or report the data for every player. There are several sites that report typical or average salaries based on surveys of players. This one puts the Greek League typical salary range as $60k - $250k.

The Adriatic League, where Trent plays, is around the same tier of league, so it's probably similar. The team also matters a great deal. Bigger teams, especially those who compete in EuroLeague, have much bigger budgets. Trent's team finished 6th out of 14 in the Adriatic League last year, so they're a good team, but not one of the top spenders (those would be Red Star and Partizan). They don't compete in EuroLeague, but are competing in the Basketball Champions League, which is much like the Champions League in soccer except that the existence of the EuroLeague (which is not run by FIBA Europe) reduces the prestige (and $$$) pretty significantly. Lavrio, Plummer's team, finished 10th in the Greek League (out of 13) and are thus not in any European competition this year.

Does the box score show how many times he stared down an opponent?
The bigger question is how many noses he broke saving a ball from going out of bounds and using his patented leap , turn and fireball throw all in one motion.........the out of bounds ballet..........( OBB )

Bulls Front Office is worried about Lonzo even playing again ... Dude still can barely make it up the stairs at his own house ... Has not run full speed since January

Ayo is gonna start and if he produces, he will be in line for the BIG BAG 💰

ew ew ew, THT money? no chance, lol

Hindsight's 20/20: maybe the Pelicans actually knew what they were doing; AK rolled the bones, looks like he lost bigly

Really feel for Ball though.

It really is a bummer. For that brief moment Ball was healthy last season he was phenomenal. Hoping for Ayo to capitalize on the opportunity, like he has at every stage of his career to date.
