One of the most efficient shots is a pull up in the lane. Sort of like the one we gave up all day with the deep drop coverage.

other 2pt shots << 3pt < pull up in lane < layup
Take away the 3 pt line and he scores 53. That Pistol Pete territory

This is kinda crazy, how'd Bulls staff not recommend a scan or two earlier
It is very common to have a fracture associated with a dislocation. My read on this is that during one of his initial dislocation he had something called a Hill Sachs fracture. While technically a fracture it's not the same thing nor is it treated like other common fractures of the body. It's not as if this is an unhealed fracture that was missed. Shoulder instability is treated with PT or if recurrent it will need surgery. That's at the discretion of the player and treating surgeon. The guy in this video has no understanding of medicine and it shows.

By now, the Bulls know the value of Ayo and I hope they give him the time and resources to fully recover

This is so classic Bulls. They’ve become the new Knicks. Have all the geographic gifts but mismanage their way into mid-tier hell.

What free agent is going to see that news and say “oh yeah, I want to play there! They take care of their players really well.”?

Dudes with a significant injury history who want an easier place to pass their medical?

IMO Deron is still the best to have ever come through our program. Favorite memory of mine is him hitting some absolutely clutch threes in the gold medal game against Spain on the Redeem Team.

Very very rare to have a PG as strong as him, while still having a lightning quick crossover, also while being a great 3pt shooter and elite passer. One of a kind type player.

It’s sad his body broke down on him so early. Played til 2017 but was essentially done 2-3 years earlier — numbers fell off a cliff. It’s crazy to think how neck-and-neck the Deron vs. CP3 arguments were in the late 2000s and early 2010s. At their peak it really was debatable — Deron was definitely better when it mattered (playoffs) and raised his game more — but CP’s done an incredible job staying healthy and productive. Still playing almost 30 min/game a decade after Deron left the Nets.
