Congrats to the Lady Illini on first B1G win thus far this year. Looks like they also picked up a grad transfer from Duke (previously with Cal also). Good day.

Sara Anastasieska or something like that.
Thanks, Eye. Looks like she is pretty well traveled. Been to three different universities over six years. Next year would be her seventh year. Lots of international experience with her home country - Australia.

Zero chance this staff is here next year right? I dont follow women's basketball other than seeing updates on scores, but there's been 5 B1G wins in 4 years? Thats gotta be an all time low for the program.

I think she should have another year to prove herself. Champaign is a hard place to recruit to.

Uh, no. No tougher than West Lafayette, or Bloomington, In, or Iowa City, or Lincoln, or... Grentz had us relevant but it's been a long, slow decline ever since. Bad coaching hires is the problem and has been ever since Grentz.

Lost again today at Purdue. The end has to be near for Nancy.

not sure how many people are watching these games, but there has been improvement in their play.

I don't recall Illinois women's BB ever being relevant. A few decent teams, maybe, but relevant? Hardly. And Grentz had her own problems, if you recall.
