Was hoping newcomers other tha Hobby would step forward.

Bollin only played 3 minutes
Dolan only 6 minutes

This team will be fine as the season goes on. Making the tournament should be the new expectation....the rest is gravy

Last season we had less depth and played a cupcake non-conference schedule. We got to see more of the rotation early because we were beating bad teams by 25+ points.

This season we have more depth and play a more competitive non-conference schedule. We haven't had one of our best offensive weapons on the court yet and Green tends to play a tight rotation. We have more depth just a bunch of talented inexperienced depth. I look for her to shuffle more players in and out as the season progresses. Genesis Bryant wasn't even a starter until Cook missed a few games last season due to illness about a week before Christmas.

Hoping to see Bollin and Dolan to contribute more.

Surprised the Rhoades got almost all of Cook's minutes.

Very close road loss without our best player. Hope Cook is back Saturday vs. #10 Notre Dame in DC

Go Illini! Might see more depth used today ;)

Other than the Notre Dame game I think Illinois should coast in the next few weeks. Hopefully Cook can get cleared soon but no rush bringing her back until 100%.

27-4 after first Q! Only bad is Dolan hurt her foot/ankle and had to be helped off the court. Bryant and Rhodes have run the point guard spot very well.

We are 8-11 from 3 point distance for 73% and huge lead 48-15. Now the other team is not real good, but still our top 7 players, minus cook so far, are playing very well on both ends of the court. Peebles 16 points with ju.st under 3 minutes to go first half

Dolan has not returned to the bench. Trainer came back without her.

Hobby sure is fun to watch and have on this team. Not only does she bring size, defense and that toughness to fill in on our front line that we needed. She also can shoot the dang ball. Not sure Bollin is 100% healthy yet but you can tell she is a smart player and soft touch on the shot. Not playing much the past few years it is going to take her awhile to get back in the game shape and feel. These two are huge pick ups that are going to pay dividends during this season. Bollin seemed to do a lot of the talking during huddles after a foul, makes me wonder if that was part of the reason Coach Green wanted her. Some leadership, smart and understands the game, even if limited minutes at the start of the season.

Glad I said that about Bollin right before she made back to back 3 pointers. Makes me look smarter than RBUCKS and puman91, don't ya think?
