Hobby is making significant contribution.
She is basically a starter coming off the bench
For the team to really improve we need more from Dolan and Bollin.
Or more from a starting post player not named Bostic

My sentiments exactly. Should be doing more than shooting threes. She is basically a starter coming off the bench

Brad has a chance now that Shauna has taught him how to make free throws.Brad is gunning for a B10 title. Hope Shauna can keep up!
Seems like the whole team is having an off nightIllini up 35-17 at the half......
Bostic with 12 rebounds so far......
Brin Shoup-Hill with 12 pts......
The Illini are as cold as ice tonight........they really really are................
Press seemed to bother them. Forced to many 3s early on. Looking at the teams, looked Illini should have been up 50 instead 20 something. I guess when a win is a sure thing after the first few minutes things get sloppy. Need to tighten up passing and shots when the Wolverines come to town on Sunday.Seems like the whole team is having an off night
They got waxed tonight by Toledo.ScUM is rated and we are not....what a miscarriage of justice and human dignity...
It really really is....
Worst shooting night of the season by a long shot - 40%. Next worst was vs. Notre Dame at 48%. Lots of minutes for the reserves tonight but, still, the starters only shot 42%. Struggled vs. the zone.Seems like the whole team is having an off night
Now if Bostic and Cook et all can teach Dain and Ty ...Brad has a chance now that Shauna has taught him how to make free throws.
Very interesting - thank you. So could we extrapolate that as the women's team is shorter on the whole than the men's team, the women are better free throw shooters - currently .793% vs .645%? The woman have only three players that are 6'3" and they are currently shooting .750%, .900% and .733% and one at 6'6" shooting 0 for 6 at .000% so this bears out what you have stated. (Note these are not career stats.)Know we are having fun but it's crazy how the FT% goes down typically as the size of athlete/hands get bigger. There are exceptions to the rule in this but very common to have 1-3 spots having the best FT% in the nation due to these physical features.
Few of the top post players in the women's college game 6'3-6'6 range average around 75-80% in career.
Bostic has been the constant big on our team for a few seasons. She is 6'2 on a good day and averages around 66% coming into this season. Pretty blah....though she is getting to the stripe more this season and over 80% right now.
Holding everything else constant, you would have to assume that the smaller women's ball has a higher probability of going through the same sized hoop as the men use. Men's ball is 1" larger in circumference.Very interesting - thank you.
