Throw in hand size, physicality of game, FT attempts.

Shannon Jr is a physical guard for example. He will likely have more FT attempts in 2 seasons at Illinois than majority of ladies will have in 4-5 seasons here. For some, he might have more attempts in one season.

I have never made fun of Shaq at the FT line. I met him while he was at LSU and in the NBA. Talk about a reality check when you see how big he is and hand size.

We really gotta clean up the turnovers. They’ve been a problem all season. This team is too experienced and we have too many decent ball-handlers on the court to keep having this happen. Getting killed on the boards, too. Frustrating.

Last year, the ball movement and shot selection was a thing of beauty. This year, it's standing around and hero ball at the end of the clock. I don't understand how the same players have regressed so much. Of course, you're going to shoot 19% from the field when you're smaller and don't run any offense whatsoever. Then the defense. There was none. Just insanely bad basketball from a team that fundamentally should be better. I said it previously, SG needs to be willing to take out the starters if they aren't performing. You can't tell me Shay, Jada, Cori, Camille, and Gretchen are going to do worse than what that was.

Going to be hard to keep attendance up if they have to witness an ineffectual display like we have seen today....
We are so much better than this and I don't blame Shauna at all if she yanks starters if the second half is anything like the first half......yikes
