We have four home games remaining:
Wildcats, Terps. Hoosiers and Cornhuskers. So an opportunity to get a big win or two there. Penn State, Michigan State and Iowa on the road. Tough road games as Penn State improved this season. Hawkeyes might be recalling how we stunned them for the win last year. However, the opportunity is there for us to make some noise.
10-10 overall and 4-6 in the conference
Ladies ended the 8 game losing streak to Michigan last game. Time to end the 4 game slide vs Purdue tonight. I don't get too high or down on this team but this seems like a put up or shut up game to keep a WNIT bid alive. Take care of business here and vs Northwestern (2 of easier games on schedule) and slide back to 6-6 in conference play.
Ladies are getting exposure on BTN tonight and hope the shots continue to fall again. Purdue is a little banged up but they play tough at home. Throw in they will be wearing pink jerseys for the annual Play4Kay Pinkout Game and should be a good game considering the team records.

I've been watching some of the game before the Illini women's game tonight and at the halftime break the studio crew were giving a rundown of our game vs. purdont........the lady giving our game report referred to Genesis Bryant as Jennifer Bryant...C'mon on girl , do your homework before you embarrass yourself on the air........Gen started all last year and this year , so she isn't some unknown player...............it ticks me off when studio mouth's talk stupid stuff.................it really really does......
it was also said that purdont has won 13 out of the last 14 games between us...........wow....time to correct that big time.....And purdont is on a 7 game losing streak since January 2nd of this year..........

One was questionable with ankle so not sure. Was game time decision
Another has broken nose. Got it last game and playing tonight before having surgery on it tomorrow.
Another Cook turnover, unforced turnover! Hobby having a poor night also and not helping carry us through the poor shooting. The good news Bostic is now top ten all time in Illinois rebounding with 9 in the first half as we end the half down 33-22. We have to play better in second half.
Fun note of the night.... Bryant just called for traveling when she never had possession of the ball, her feet never moved and player on the other team knocked her over. Moment later they mad a bad call in our favor as a make up. Refs for WBB are still not up to the standard they should be for the fastest growing sport right now Pruman91 on the call was better
Get it down to 4, then miss 5 shots in a row including 3 layups. So damn frustrating!
Cook and Bryant have played every minute, all 30 each of them and no help on the D. Cook the worst. They have shot a whopping 4 for 20. I am not blaming them, we had a coach last year that had to play them. She doesn't this year but for some reason would rather lose than switch things up. Not sure Bostic, McKenzie and Hobby can carry
This team has only won 2 B1G games all season! What is wrong with you?! Are you completely incapable of making shots when the opposing jersey says Purdue??
