After the hideous basketball we saw last night, I'm excited to watch this team as a palate cleanser tonight. They are the antithesis of everything that's going on with the men's team. They play with teamwork, heart, exceptional shooting, and a high basketball IQ. It's also just genuinely fun and exciting basketball. Though, I guess I'm preaching to the choir to those already in this thread. Hopefully, as momentum continues to grow more on this board will pop over here. They are having their best start ever and it deserves to be treated as the big freaking deal it is.

Palate cleanser.......I like that ......I really really do...................

I fully agree with the comparison to the MBB team as a night and day difference...........The ladies are playing with confidence and all out effort , and BTW , they have some very talented players......The biggest difference in teams is the TEAMWORK on display by the Ladies compared to the men.......
And I really loved that locker room scene where SG had to do that dance and all the players went crazy and then SG gave them a water bath back at them....

I have thought today that the MBB squad is just going through a phase somewhat like the tarholes did last year and they ended up in the Final 4.........I am NOT even entertaining a Final 4 by the Illini with the condition they are in now , but the Ladies have captured my attention full bore ..........I want them to be a contender for a B$G title and SG to win the B$G COTY..........When I analyze their play I see very few holes in the team ........Not enough past for me to give a more in depth appraisal of them but I will try to record every game that I can ........I'm glad they are on BTN tonight and hope with their record and if they keep winning that they will find more exposure.......

LET'S GO LADY FIGHTING ILLINI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Caitlin Clark is amazing, but she’s got some “punk” in here. I would never hit a woman, but she certainly has the Iowa “punchable face” thing down

she didn’t let it go after she fouled out, either. The game was on the line and she spent her time complaining to the coach next to her, who was trying to ignore her in order to concentrate on the end of the game.
