As if we needed more evidence that Josh is the best in the business. Not only is he smart and capable, but dammit, he cares about this University and all the athletes that represent it. There's no world where Mike Thomas or Ron Guenther make that speech to the women's basketball team.

We are very inexperienced.

Only 3 returnees with significant playing time Berry, Gretchen (injured) and Cory (injured)
5 incoming freshman

Sure would be nice to get an experienced center to give rebounding post defense. Bostic leaves huge shoes to fill.

What can we expect from Smith and Vasconcelos in the post? Neither has played much so the sample size is quite small. Lety was highly ranked coming out of high school (top 10 center). She played 99 minutes as a freshman at Baylor while Smith played 92 minutes for us.

Jasmine more so than Cori.

A center would be nice. Another ball handler for sure. Actually any good player regardless of position would be welcome.

I'm hoping the team finds a combo guard with a ball handler mid range game about 6 ft tall and a savvy 6 ft 2 3 and d forward really just to nurse all those freshman some until they come into their own. It kinda has happened some with Erica and Cearah,but that was the scout team. I'm sure it helped some but next year we only have non verbal younger leadership.A couple of stout seniors would help a lot.

In addition to what I would like to know about what is going on with recruiting on both fronts.Transfer portal is crucial,but I would also like to lock down a couple of top notch freshmen too.
