Manuela Alves HS JR year highlights. Likes to bang inside. Played at IMG SR year.

Watching this video and her play against the Fever I think she is going to be one to really watch.

Her dad played professionally and is currently a coach. He coached the Brazilian National Team vs. the Fever last month in Iowa City. Manuela should have a good understanding of the game.

I like this add. Not expecting anything big from her, but like the added experience. And to go to D2 school to Long Island and now to B1G, just seems like someone who will work hard and be a good teammate. Maybe that just helps as a practice player, but could be someone who gives us some productive minutes here and there.

Gretchen should have a redshirt year, if she wants it, making her a RS Soph like Lety.

I certainly agree with your premise am also looking forward to this size. I only take issue with one thing. I think you're underestimating all the contributions of Brynn Shoup-Hill. Just a really solid player who really matured and gave KB so much help this year.

Absolutely - Brynn was an unsung hero and the the progress she made during the season had a significant positive impact on the team's success.

Underwood has his Balkan 5. We need to come up with a moniker for Green's Brazilian contingent. Brazilian 3? Ballin' Brazilians?

I was thinking the same thing. I'm glad I caught a new glimpse of some new 2026 recruiting with Gigi Battle.I hope more is to come. Last year most action went under the radar.I guess that works better for Coach Green after pulling the rabbit out of the hat with that No.7 class.

I do think all of the Brazilian should be featured.Alves has shown in her Wnba games that she will compete.Aaliyah could quite possibly been starting for Iowa this year and Lety that size and quickness maybe she learned a lot last year on that bench. Cearah looks like a gamer in her film. Her and Finney took the benefit of a season of training with the program. It looks promising. Coach Green took a first year program to 20 wins and then to a postseason title, next a a showing in the tournament with nuts and bolts and little less than half the talent on the team to play with.

The B1G looks tough at the top but to me it looks like the ill in got a shot. This whole team may be Green's vision.

Next Chapter..... I believe this Coach is capable of bringing this sleeping giant that is ILL-INI into the prominence it can keep and be lasting..Lock up the borders first.. Keep March Madness at its original home.
