So Benson was the only player that was available that did not get in? Why would that be?Zenere was also not available last night due to ahand injury. Guyton still in a boot.

Glad to see Shay starting. Anyone care to speculate whether she would for the Illini, if still here?Shay Bollin started , had 13 points, 3 rebounds for Wisc. in their season opening victory.
No. She could shoot a little but didn't show much else. She would be battling with Irene for the 9th man spot. She played hard and seemed to be a good teammate.Glad to see Shay starting. Anyone care to speculate whether she would for the Illini, if still here?
No. Wisconsin is a weak team, she shot well, but moved too slow to start for us. As the post above stated she would have limited playing time with us. She moved to a team where she fits in much better. Shame to see a player with so much talent have a injury or two in her case change her career.Glad to see Shay starting. That is super cool. What a dream. So excited to have bought season tickets. Great seats (and relatively cheap), fun team, free parking, and I get to see my son play in the band at the Hall!
Given her height 6'3" one would have expected rebounding, ability to score inside and guard in paint. In her limited time at Illinois she shot 3's but was not mobile. I think her injuries - back and knee robbed her of athleticism that made her a top 50 talent as a HS junior. Last year when we had no size and were only 7 deep it was her opportunity.No. Wisconsin is a weak team, she shot well, but moved too slow to start for us. Nice. We get to see one team fully fit and operational. Hope the other side of Ubben follows suit ASAP.
