She is like Andy Kaufman - if she is not hitting she keeps firing. Can singlehandedly win and lose games for you. She should not be cold vs. cupcakes. I assume she was 4-19 vs OSU because they were focusing on her.

Dolan and Brown-hagger shouldn't be starting. My problem with those two is when they are struggling offensively then they struggle on defense. In my opinion, Webber and Guyton should starting. Guyton and Webber are better perimeter defenders as well.

I had a good friend admitted to the hospital this morning with heart problems so I just got home 2-3 hours ago........he is now out of danger but had us worried for a while..........will watch the replay later tonight......good win Illini..............

thanks for the kind words ,bros.......just finished watching the game and I am so impressed with Ms. Destiny Jackson.......she plays with such a poised all around game....today she showcased her scoring skills along with her every game defensive talent.......to be playing at the level she is playing and being a true freshman is so impressive to me as she had 5 assists and I don't remember her with a turnover.............she is headed to being All Freshman team honors along with C C Parchment......we hit home runs with these 2 players and I am sad we don't get to see the other 2 frosh who are out for the season......Finney is talked about her shooting skills and Alves is a tough rebounder and scorer...............

Coach Green has been the savior of the Illini's long dormant sleeping giant program and JW just needs to wrap her up as coach for the next 30 plus years......................he really really really really does....................

In the second half the radio feed on fighting illini synched up with the video feed on Big+. It was great hearing KB on the call.

The one freshman you didnt mention got some playing time. Naomi Benson. I assume that means she is not redshirting. Physically she sure looks like a B1G player.

my friend is stable but will stay in the hospital for a few days for tests and observation..........I rewatched the murray st game again this morning and I'm worried about Gretchen's shooting woes .....some of her shots aren't even close to going in and now it's 2 games in a row......she has always been a streaky shooter , maybe needs to drive more to the basket for some layups and getting fouled more.......

she is a major part of our team and we need her to get going especially before conference play starts..........JMHO.......

Cearah Parchment 10 pts 11 rb vs Murray State
4 star, Canada National team

Aaliyah Guyton 12 pts 4-5 shooting vs Murray State
4 star, transferred from Iowa after freshman year

Maddy Weber 7 ptg 2 rbs 1 assist 1 block vs Murray State
Jr - 2nd team all big east transferred from Villanova

Not playing due to injury - Manuela Alves 4 star Brazil national team, Erica Finney 4 star Australia national team

That is recruiting - 4 rotation players despite 2 season ending injuries. Of course Brad did equally well - 4 rotation players Big Z, David M, Keaton W, and Andrej (5 if Petrovic can play)

I think the women are missing Alves the most. Potent inside scorer and rebounder. Also the Australian sharpshooter would help. Especially with Dolan shooting poorly from outside. But they are young and learning to play together. If not this year, watch out for next year.

Looking forward to FSU game sunday Good test.

Hopefully Oregon State was fluke and Dolan will never go 4-19 again. Jackson and Guyton seem to be improving w/ college experience.

FSU starting 5 out weigh us by 200 lbs and are very physical we are down 14-3 early

Maddie Webber comes in playing physical and his 2 three’s to keep us in the game. We play good defense and the throw up a prayer with one on the shot clock and make it. Our bench is going to get a lot of playing time today and I think is better than FSU’s

We have a coach that made adjustments and turned the game around Webber played like an experienced upperclassman that we expected her to be, 8 points off the bench and Dolan hits a long, long 3 at the end of first quarter. We are down 24-22. Nice comeback

You had to think, once she settled in, she was going to make a difference.

Illini lead 42-34 at the half.

Dolan 4-6 from the field and only shot 1 three point shot (she made it). Perfect.
