I want to see the impact BA will have in recruiting...I know she has a vast network of contacts. Would be fascinating to see who she is in on in terms of players right now. I have read an article that states her impact to WBB will be larger than what Tim Anderson brought to MBB.Home run hire

I love this hire. Grabbing a coach from Stanford is huge. Green must have a great sell speech. BA should be able to add to our improving recruiting team. We will be a top 4 seed in March next year, Charlie Creme does not give us much respect.
Why do you think it'll take that long?? ;-) We may be just another big transfer from making it NEXT year!!

Likely scenario is SG calls her connection and indicates she's needing to replace an assistant. Asks if connection knows of anyone. Connection also knows BA and knows BA is open to moving for the right opportunity. Connection gives SG the name of BA

Mentioned before on here but Stanford is set for now and future with the coaches on the staff. VanDerveer is retiring when she wants and than Paye will likely take over the program. Paye is a 1B to VanDerveer and than Steding. Both of these ladies played for VanDerveer back in the day.
I look for BA to be on the Shauna Green coaching tree down the road....

Chester and Coach Anderson were both assistants at VA Tech at the same time. I don't know if that was the genesis, but I doubt it hurt.
He definitely helped seal the deal.
That's great. I also think BA will be a head coach soon, and probably in her next job. I hope she adds a B1G title and another natty before she goes.
How fast can a program jump on the women's side? I'm obviously blown away by the progress over the past twelve months, and while I would normally expect to pump the brakes by now, the BA hire and recent transfer has me thinking the movement is accelerating, not slowing down. Can they be sweet 16 and final Four bound over the next couple of seasons, if everything goes right?
