Thank you very much for your Chart IlliniInIndy85. It greatly simplifies determining the games we want to follow and/or watch. Glad we play Miznoz so that they are listed - for me a Miznoz loss in any game is second only to an Illini win.

Yup. Have a heck of a resume so far. Why can’t they just find the bottom of the B1G for a few consecutive years??

How is it that they are almost ALWAYS good.
Because they have a solid culture built on hard work, consistently get high character guys who buy into that culture, don’t worry about stars when they recruit, and have had continuity at the head coaching position for a very long time.

Basically what Underwood has built here.

Oh, I know the REASONS they do it.

I’m more doing the complain/selfish whine wondering why they don’t suck and wishing they would.

As much as my gut tells me it was, a loss to NW in OT on their court is not a terrible loss. I don’t see us dropping more than a couple of spots.

It's a terrible loss given the fact that the game was there to be won at the end. NW is solid at home, so there's no shame in it, but when was there for the taking and we didn't get it done. Could have been a 2-0 week, but given the dumpster fire vs Indiana, it could have been an 0-2 week. Kick the field goal, go 1-1 and move on to OSU.

Andy Katz put NW above Illinois in his Power 36. It’s just 1 spot, but extremely laughable imo.

Wisconsin up to 5 in that poll. I feel like this Wisconsin team is playing great but will lay a dud in the tournament and make the big ten look bad again. I guess we aren't one to talk
No doubt a really good team, but I feel like people ignored their loss at an under .500 PSU team. Illinois at their best beats Wisky at their best imo.

I think we fall a bit more than people expect. There's a overall negative perception of Illinois because of the up and down way we've played the last couple of weeks and the overall TSJ situation. Most voters want to see us lose.

I say we drop 3-5 spots with Marquette, Wisconsin, Duke jumping us for sure. And a potential of Creighton and Iowa state jumping us. The only team above us that should drop below us would be Auburn.

Note: Not that any of that matters to me. I just want the next month to be able to work in TSJ again and we can look like we did vs FAU and Mizzou as we head into March.

If Wisconsin gets out of PBA with a win then I'll start buying them as for real. Going to be really hard with the way Nebraska plays at home and their crowd will be fired up. Wisconsin could very well have three losses by the end of this next 7 days.

I keep seeing some people say this yet we jumped up into the top 10. The voters don’t care about this as much as you think.
