I think some people here could afford to chill and eat a bowl of tuna from time to time. This was a game between the top two offenses in the conference. Of course they were going to get buckets. It's tourney time. Embrace the madness, enjoy the next game, keep fine tuning things for the big dance.
That’s what they all say…it starts off with that one bowl. And, the next thing you know it’s just too much tuna.

If I was a betting man, I would bet that he's already informed Brad of his intent to enter the portal.

He had a bad game. Acknowledged. But how quick you people are to pull the "KJ is not a NBA player" plug is truly comical 😂😂.

Absolutely no defense for some of his TOs today and he deserves criticism, it's just that same "not an NBA player" repeatedly over and over .... it's silly and just gotten old. And at the end of the day, if he's not, great - it's a guy whose unanimously projected as a top 10 pick 🤷‍♂️.

Now if the Rutgers guys got some of this crap instead of the first class celebrity treatment everywhere, maybe that might've lit a fire under their a$$ so who knows... 🤷‍♂️.

Just my 2 cents.
Illinois has never had a one and done in its history. They will have two this year. The fanbase is not generationally accustomed to hauling in that level of talent. Some need time to adjust.

We had made some defensive changes the first time we played Iowa. They adjusted…and shot the ball out of their minds, hitting several contested shots (and some not so contested).
It was a question of who would crack first. Earlier in the season we cracked a few times. Thanks in large part to Boswell stepping up as a leader, we refused to crack. That would seem to bode well going along the tourney trail.

As mentioned, Iowa probably played one of their best games this year, and the Illini still won by double digits.

If Sandfort doesn't go off, this is a 25-point victory, imo.

I hope in the future KJ doesn't hurt this team in clutch time with his TOs. It could be a problem down the line.

It's obvious his talent outweighs his TOs, but it may come back to bite us.

Morez is just a beast. Unreal. Like the fact BU didn't play him a ton of minutes. Gradual.

Going to need Morez big time tomorrow so good to not wear him out too early.

ONE THING becoming more apparent every game is Brad genius in roster construction. This is an incredibly balanced roster with great skill mix and no egos to get in the way. All pretty much from scratch. A lot of good coaches out there who can recruit but have wrong mix of roster (see Bail and Cal)
