Fun game to watch. Need to tighten up some things, but mission accomplished.

Love to see Kylan continue with another great game. Few weeks back I felt like the only guy on here that appreciated what Kylan was bringing as most were focused merely on his 3-pt shooting.

What an entertaining game. And we got a Fran ejection! Double bonus!

Offense was humming today - on both sides. I loved our aggressive drives and cuts. Ball movement was incredible. Shot selection so much better. We’re so good when we play like that. 3s falling for guys makes a difference too 😜. Make no mistake though, this game was won on rebounding.

And now that Tomi is healthy, this is who I remember from the Arkansas game. He came to play today. Morez looked good for just coming back. Will Riley was a beast. White’s cutting was perfect. Kylan get-right game.

Didn’t love the defense (or lack thereof), way too many easy looks. Sandfort going off like that doesn’t help. But a lot of those shots were very difficult.

Yes, great point.

Iowa had 5 TO’s and only 1 by a starter. They got up 71 FGA’s.

We had 10 TO’s all by starters and 65 FGA’s…

Even winning the rebounding battle by 17, Iowa got up more 6 shots than us. We got up 20 more FTA’s.

Kiddo had sparring practice tonight so I just finished watching the game.
Sandfort had a magical Jimmy Chitwood game tonight and I tip my cap to him. Helluva game.
Hot takes:
this team is lethal at full strength and the mental aspect looked way more dialed in than any point this season since Oregon. Iowa just hit a ridiculous amount of tough 2s.
Will Riley is filthy. Rich soon.
Tomi will be a preseason NPOY big list candidate next year.
Morez - 💪💪
Definitely played like a team that can win a BTT title.

I think that we lack depth in the frontcourt and that will be our undoing....whenever that is. I have to believe that Brad thought Booth was going to give us more because we're not going to have any answers for teams the can roll in athletic bigs. That's the only roster "issue", but when you're building from scratch....pretty darn good.

Tomi is great and may be best Illini passer. Tomi, KJ, Riley, and Boswell all can pass and White is almost as talented as the other 4 along with Morez. I like this team. Wish we had another big that can defend and protect Tomi's minutes. Don't know if the coaches thought Booth could be that guy. But team still dangerous as is.

I joked with the in-laws that I’m going to look like a cartoon character this weekend, wearing the same outfit each day, if we keep winning. 🤣
