I hope Fran apologized to Sandfort. That kid was devastated when the 2 technicals were called. He knew the significance immediately. Then he continued to play is heart out. And he personally "undid" those 4 gift points. But, I knew he was going to expire. Not just start missing shots, but physically he was going to be done.

Would you rather play a 4 to get to the S16 or a 3? Hard question. We lose today and I think we are a solid 6. Win, it moves us to the 5 with a shot at a 4 since teams are losing. The gap between 4-7 is very narrow. The so called experts have us anywhere between a 5-8 right now. Lots of things can change in the next 72 hours

As of right now, KJ is our worst starter which is not a bad thing. I think with KJ it’s all mental. I think the injury and the way he was treated in the MSU game at EL has messed with him.

Not to mention that the only reason Brad was probably asked about it was that Fran had been ejected, so no immediate post-game interview for him. I did not watch any pressers so don't know if it came up again. 100% classy answer by Brad and I hope we don't get another T-bar in social media.

I know I wear Orange glasses but it seems fairly common for him not to get any whistle (unless he is playing defense). Head scratcher for me.

agree. Illinois is currently a 6. Beat Maryland and the next one likely moves Illinois to the 4/5 line.

Would you rather play a 3 to get to S16 or play a 4/5 to get to S16?

I think it’s a combination of the fouls assessed against him and what’s not be whistled on the other end when he has the ball.
