Yeah, but some posters as just so . . . Ignorant? We shouldn't have to read their words.

This is not referencing you, but rather the subject poster . . .
I know. Patience is a virtue. And, sometimes you just have to let it go, as difficult as it may be. :) Or, you can just say F'em . The thumbs down button would certainly allow me a release more socially acceptable and make me feel better afterward 😁.

About to pour me my Friday evening whiskey and rewatch this one, it was way too entertaining
I'm probably going to spend my Saturday morning watching the second half again. Too many interesting games on tonight. I'm taking a commercial break for Michigan State-Ohio State to type this reply as I have that game on my laptop. Have Creighton-Marquette and Saint Louis-St. Joseph's on my multiview.

Yes I been enjoying my favorite adult beverage while thinking about what I've seen last night and for the third time today. The second half of the game was amazing and right there with some other great Illini performances I've enjoyed over my 73 years and being an Illini fan since I can remember. What impressed me the most was Kasparas play in the second half, just as he impresses me almost every game. I wonder if I may be seeing the best freshman player we've had on our team. If not, he's damn close to it. He does some moves like he has some Pistol Pete DNA in him. Both his passing and contortions he does at the basket to make shots look effortless for him. The PERFECT back through his legs pass to Humrichous was exceptional especially with Ben hitting the 3. He's really special and the only downside I see is we'll only have him for this one special year. So I can care less about the announcers or any of the pundits opinions. I'll just trust my eyes and enjoy this ride while I can.

I've generally like Herbstreit, but when he joined the boys at SEC, I mean ESPN, throwing shade at playoff teams that "didn't belong", I thought he's finally cracked and given up his integrity to the mother ship. I suppose you stay there long enough, and it just becomes normal to lose your perspective and assume the SEC is far and away the best and most deserving football conference.

And yup, this has been an amazing run in Illinois bball and fball. Great time to follow the program and enjoy how the players and coaches are putting everything together. Lot of high character guys in the program that are fun to watch.

Maybe he genuinely thought Alabama/South Carolina/Ole Miss deserved it more and/or was better than Indiana? I know plenty of people who don't work for ESPN who felt that way.

I can completely agree with your assessment of the team and individuals however I’d throw in several things. We play as a team which is very unique when only one guy comes back. Ty redshirted and he’s still on this team in my opinion and that’s awesome that he’s on the bench. Gibbs Lawhorn is the man and I mean it! Loved to see his minutes! One of our more underrated guys is morez! He’s so good as a freshman! I have to say I love he committed so long ago and he’s all in. I see some frustration but he’s so good! He does all the dirty work and important things! If he sticks around he’ll be all big ten! Love Jake! Boswell doesn’t get enough credit for his defense. He’s a stud across the board! Love this team! Love our coach!

I played keyboards on this song.....it was one of our most requested songs back then...........had 2 Lesley speakers hooked up to my VOX double keyboard organ..............vibrato was so intense with those speakers.....memory lane holds so many heavy times , man.....so solid and righteous they were.....................they really really were....sorry for going off topic...............
Leslies...nice. Rotating amps gave and still give to this day the richest key sounds. I've had my hands on many valuable Leslies Pru, I really really have.

One last observation after watching the game again - we had the lead to 23 about 5 mins into 2nd half and then they had actually cut it to 12 with 12:33 to play and looked like it was going to be a game again. Trade buckets for a couple of possessions and go to TV timeout. Then first play after the break Hum hits his 3rd three and then on very next possession he booties into the lane and makes a short 2 point shot and Oregon just looked dejected at that point and then it was the KJ & Tre show from there.
