Well, I would think that as of now, a win on Saturday at least gets us past Auburn. I'll be curious to see how far the pollsters are willing to drop Kansas if they lose to Baylor ... they'd have a worse record than us at that point (again, assuming we can win Saturday). Probably only a few spots to gain with a win, but it would be awesome to go into the final week's matchups with #2 Purdue and rival Iowa as a top 10 team, JMO!

Is it bad that I want #10 again?

11.

We jump (11) Auburn with one loss & (7) Kansas with two losses.

Even 11 is optimistic. Baylor who just beat their 5th ranked team is jumping us for sure and Auburn had a good lead on points for us they may not get ding much for the UT loss. I think 12, or maybe staying at 13.

Unfortunately the B1G has been good this year and our resume will not be strong enough to get back to top 10 unless we beat PU.

For sure? I don’t know about all that. They beat a slumping can’t win on the road Kansas team at home.

Agreed. I think we pass Kansas but Baylor may jump us too. I don't see Auburn dropping much with a respectable L @Tennessee
Worth noting that we were ranked #20 the week that we (1) beat #11 FAU at MSG and (2) lost 86-79 at #17 Tennessee. And we actually went up to #16 in the next poll after going 1-1 ... so I agree that Auburn is unlikely to slip.

I still think Auburn will slip but it also must be noted we beat the number 23 net on the road. Some of that increase from the FAU and TN 10 week was owed to a neutral site road win, a relatively close road loss to a top ten team, as well as other losses worst losses by teams ranked in our vicinity.

I don't think we'll jump Kansas, but I don't think Baylor will jump us, either. Just eking past Auburn to land #12 is my prediction.

I would guess 12 as well. I'm having a hard time judging though Auburn. I don't think they should fall much but at the end of the day, their resume just isn't that great and not worth of the ranking they have to justify being over teams like Gonzaga and Kentucky. I don't think Auburn actually gets jumped by both in the ranking but I see them getting seeded lower on Selection Sunday.
