Meh . . . I liked ISU's win over Kansas, and their Net is what . 10? But a jump up 11 spots? and Creighton up 4? Oh well, beat the teams on our schedule and let the NCAA sort it out . . .

That NW loss really hurt our ranking.

The kitty cats are still unranked.

As I just mentioned in the last thread that this was I expected. At least Auburn fell behind us 😂

Really surprised NW is unranked still. That I don't understand. Hate to have to root for them, but we need them to keep winning so our home win can be a Q1 win lol

Even though they have two really great home wins, that Chicago State loss (and very low NET) will justifiably keep them away from the top 25...for now. They are ranked 29 in the poll. NW has a chance to jump into the poll with road wins at Purdue and Minnesota, but the likelihood of that is extremely low.

Have to think the Chicago State loss is an anchor to their NET ranking, as well as the thirty point beatdown they suffered in Champaign.

For Illini, sitting in top 15 is about right, even with the relatively rough week.

Reasonable ranking given our recent performance.

The B12 is quite entertaining this season. Curious how Houston holds up. Iowa state’s win over KU was enjoyable to watch (I’ve never seen Self drop so many f-bombs. He was rewarded with a technical for his colorful language). There could be a lot of cannibalism in that league.

Just win. This team is not trusted on the road, imo.

But, how do voters justify Arizona dropping only two spots by losing to the worse team in the PAC12, while being ranked higher? Also, NW has a few big wins.

Why should NW be ranked? They are 47 kenpom and 59 NET. That is borderline not making the tournament. They've got work to do.
I think that NET is being driven by what is probably the worst loss in basketball this year. That Chicago State loss is a weight around their necks. So, while they have better wins than us, we aren't saddled with an eye popping loss...though Maryland wasn't great.

IMO, 14 seems about right. If the NCAA tourney started today, we'd likely be one and done. We need to get back in form to earn a top 10 ranking and a 3 seed.

bigger slide than anticipated. Time to get two wins this week and even more importantly to get a flow back as a team.
I'd say that we played better in the loss to Northwestern than the win versus Indiana. That Indiana game with a 50/50 with a little over a minute to go. This could have been an 0-2 week, yet it could have also been a 2-0 week. This hasn't been a great stretch for us if you throw in that Maryland debacle. I'd say that still being in the top 15 is more than fair. We need this game tomorrow. If we drop a game against a lifeless OSU team...next week won't be good.
