You forgot Maryland - the biggest giveaway of all.Great road win. Just imagine if we would have taken care of business in the UTSA, Purdue, & Rutgers games! Congratulations Fighting Illini players & coaches!!!! Two road wins against ranked big ten foes.
Deja Vu: As soon as the game was over, I switched to my grad school's team, Southern Miss and they immediately scored 2 TDs in less than a minute to take a 14-0 lead!
And Maryland.......Great road win. Just imagine if we would have taken care of business in the UTSA, Purdue, & Rutgers games! Congratulations Fighting Illini players & coaches!!!! Two road wins against ranked big ten foes.

Ugh that season was my last year on campus. What a rough season that was....First Illinois win at Minnesota since November 7, 2009 (nearly 12 years to the date of that game), which was also the first year of Minnesota's then new stadium. Illini won 35-32. That was the game where Juice hurt his ankle in the first quarter and never returned. He was replaced at QB for the rest of that game by Jacob Charest.
Illini team that year finished 3-9 with the only other wins that year coming against ISU and Michigan (game against Michigan was previous week that season).
Agreed. I'm obviously happy/pleasantly surprised with the big road win today (against another ranked team) but it does frustrate me to think how many games we literally gave away this season (Purdue, San Antonio, Rutgers, Maryland) I'll just label it as growing pains with a brand new coaching staff. No need for me or other Illini fans to cry over spilled milk. It is what it is and I'm just going to enjoy this impressive Illini win todayI am obviously happy…. But damn did we crap away our season early on or what…
We have been in nearly every game this year with a chance to win most. Our two victories against ranked teams we were in control of the games. This team now has to figure out how to be more consistentWow, crazy to think we could have very well been 7-3 or 8-2 at this point had we just taken care of business late in games.
