Illinois 24, Wisconsin 23 POSTGAME

Was in Champaign for Mike White. Most surprising Illinois win I can recall. As they said on the radio broadcast, this team has shown spurts of fight, but this was a great start to finish game. Key now is taking this fight that we saw last week and this week into the next two weeks. This team, with this effort, can win 4 of last 5 games, and really should win 3 of last 5. Really, really excited to see how we come out next week. Can you imagine taking a 3 game win streak into East Lansing?

That power run near the end by Dre was so impressive and so important Congratulations Illini, Lovie and staff. No fluke. Just a hard-nosed, well-deserved win over a great team.
Thrilled for Dre and Reggie - those guys leave it all on the field and its a win they will remember, and see on BTN Classics for a long time. The pick and kick was the football equiv. of the Tyler Griffey layup.

What a freaking win. Happy for the players and the coaching staff. Let's see if they can keep this going. Some really winnable games still on the schedule. Need to sweep them (Rutgers, Purdue, and NW) to reach bowl eligibility.

Gotta be ecstatic for Tony Adams as well. I understand he’s young and still learning but he hasn’t played well this season and that entire safety room has been a huge Achilles heel. To see him pick that ball, you gotta be happy for the kid.

You're trying to water down a potential program changing day. Illinois is the story of college football today. If you don't feel positive after this.....there is nothing that will ever excited you about this program.

God bless fanatics! How does this one game make Lovie any better as a defensive coach or as a recruiter than he's been for the last several years? Some days the blind squirrel finds the nut. Today was Illinois' day. I'm thrilled for the players. But this only delays the inevitable -- that Lovie can't coach or hire men who can.

Something else that really made a positive impact today, the re-emergence of what appeared to be a legitimate game plan for the usage of Daniel Barker. He’s been so good this season, we need to start putting more trust in him as an offense.

Defensively, just say the name Jamal Milan over and over. That kid carried us today. I’m aware of Dele’s statistical numbers but Jamal Milan carried this defense today. Unbelievable effort.

Goes without saying, but we could use BTN Tailgate in every homegame... good exposure for the SFC, Ayo and a win to top it off. Overall, I'd say the day went to plan.
