We did just enough wrong to make it close when it didn’t need to be and just enough right to win in the end. Congrats guys. Just a huge win. Could have gone either way at the end, but it didn’t and we are in first place baby!!!!

Many on here need to realize that MSU started 7 feet, 6'9, and 6'8 against our 6"8, 6'6, and 6'3. They also brought in 6'9 and 6'8 off the bench. As far as Hawkins last foul, was he supposed to let the MSU guy just take an uncontested layup? Give me a break!

I agree. That's a tough call to make on him. We wouldn't get it.

Well, he was pretty our of position to make a good contest. That was my issue with it.

Eh, that was not a good foul. Even without the contact that's not a gimme layup. It's lower percentage in most circumstances than the charity stripe. We got lucky he missed the front end. I'm a big fan of CoHawk, but he messed that up. Luckily we didn't pay for it.

What a W !!!! I yell at the TV "refs" so much in the second half I'll probably just keep drinkin', so I can keep peace with momma. They tried tried so hard to keep Izzo's team in it, it made me pissed. They are in the double bonus with 10 minutes to play, and the also have to waste fouls under 10 seconds in our house. Purdue game was similar.

Maybe we can have a home game sometime soon

I've seen the refs swallow the whistle on plays like that at the end of the game more times than not. I'm not gonna say much about the Illinois officiating luck.......but, THE ILLINOIS OFFICIATING LUCK.
