@Mr Podz don’t know what you drink, but it’s an awfully nice evening to raise a glass. That was one hell of an effort in crunch time, on the road, in conference.
I have never been a Nance fan - I always thought he never lived up to his potential. He is playing well now - in spite of Chris Collins. How Collins could let him guard Kofi and pick up fouls is beyond me. You need him on the floor. This NW team should at the very least be a bubble team, except for the fact that Chris Collins just flat out sucks as a coach.

To the ones saying this was a terrible performance, quite the opposite. This is NW’s March Madness. And look at NW’s losses. They have now lost 8 games by 6 points or less or in OT.
This was a gutsy, grind it out B1G road win against a talented team in a tough road environment.

Yeah, where my five-year Da'Monte Island residents at? We've been right from day 1.
That guy leads the world in clutch, backbreaking rebounds he shouldn't have been able to get to.
It wasn't pretty but we won. The biggest play of the game to me was Podz 3. That was the prettiest arching 3 I've seen from an illini in a while I think all that young man needs is some moments like that to inspire confidence. That shot he hit was huge! Also great dunk DMW!
Glad the freshmen got solid playing time. We were out of sync most of the game, but the officials should all be fired.

I'm really glad that Underwood reads this board. I don't think he'd ever give quality minutes to Podz but for the advice from posters here.
Both teams got screwed by the god awful refs today. This crew should be fired or at the very least suspended for the pathetic display they put out there today.

Hard fought game. Seems like the other teams are two steps ahead of our offense the last few games. Have they figured us out? We’re not going very far if we have to shoot 60% from three in this offense to win. Does Brad have anything different to show? Can we attack the basket from the wing and not just the top? The only guys getting to and attacking the rim are the three smallest guys on the team. Hawkins did once today, but a floater from a 6’10 guy is not what I mean. Jmo

Also a shout out to the Illini faithful in Chicago. That officiating debacle seemed to get … less terribly one-sided, when the orange half of the crowd really let them have it.
