Meanwhile Loyola just took down Florida in Gainesville

Temple beat Wisconsin, too. KU losing to Washington at home, early in the 2nd half. Weird night... Hopefully, I can block out thinking about this game too much.

I guess this kind of game is going to happen when your team is all freshmen and upperclassmen that have had zero success in their career. Still learning to close games and give consistent maximum effort & focus.

24 turnovers per team is just not fun to watch.
Almost no flow to the offense.
Refs were just a little bit touchy, but I didn't think they were at all inconsistent.
AJ only shot 2 threes I believe and didn't make either one.
Strangely, our maligned front line was the source of a high percentage of our points.
Someone said on here a game or two ago that when the ball goes in to Leron, it does not come out. So I watched for that. Absolutely! It could be 1 on 4, Leron is going to shoot.

Glad that is over . . . since its a win . . . but that wasn't very satisfying.

Loyola is probably the best team in the state right now, but I still think we will be by the end of the season.

Badgers are not good. (Still finish top 4).

BU has mentioned a few times that he hasn't been able to install counters and teach reads. So when a team knows how to shut down everything you're trying to do, and you have no idea what to do next, I guess you end up with what we saw tonight.

Austin Peay sucks. No real excuse for this to have been close for a full 40 minutes. APU hanging around until halftime....ok. A 3 point game with 1:40 to go....not good.

Those guys lost by 20, 30, 40 points vs the other High D1 teams they played.

Agreed. The only thing that was more satisfying than was a loss. Need a much different effort against UNLV.

The bright side is BU will have their full atttention for the UNLV game. We all have said that this young team will have its ups and downs. Well folks, this is what the down could look like. They are fortunate to get the win. THey should hopefully become more consistent as the year progresses, but right now they are inconsistent. For all we know they can show up Saturday and blow UNLY out of the water.

I disagree, we could easily be 10-0. Are we great at putting together this whole system not even close. But we have the talent to compete with most teams and by the time we really get into the big ten schedule I think we will be much better all the way around

I agree. Based on what BU has been able to accomplish elsewhere, we will improve. We really could be 10-0, and that's ignoring my obvious bias.

Tomorrow's practice just needs to be pain. Suicide drills for 4 straight hours. Until there is no more vomit left to vomit.

No complaining about officials allowed for one week.

Well. That was not fun.

On the plus side, I'm stoked about our freshmen. BMW and Frazier are looking real nice. Smith will get there, just adjusting to playing ball without being the main man.

Te'jon looked a little pissed near the end of the game - avoiding eye contact with BU. Hopefully he takes it upon himself and doesn't begin to form a riff with coach.

The only positive I seen this game was that a couple
minutes into the second half we had already picked up 3 or 4 fouls quickly, but they never did put them in the bonus that half

25 TO's against Maryland and 24 tonight has got to be a back to back school record for TO's. Anybody find worse??

The team can improve and I expect that it will improve. For everyone's sake.
