My top 6 (6-0 B10) findings from the MGoBlog game thread, only 5 pages of game thread, losers):

1. Howard is a terrible coach, puts together a terrible roster, and has bad rotations. (32 comments)
2. Caleb Houston is the worst freshman on the team including walk-ons and managers (18)
3. The officials are 1 sided and illinois gets every call. "They are need evening out the game when we are shorthanded." (5)
4. Brad - hair, whiny, staff decorum, etc. (5)
5. Kofi, kofe, cofe, coffee, cofi (can't spell)
6. If we had HD, we gave them a fight without our best player

No scUM, WE gave you our best shot without our best player last year...remember that one?

So what clicked for us with 6 minutes to go in the game. The last 6 minutes they looked like the Fightin Illini..... the first 34 not so much. Looks like we won this game at the free throw line and the 3 point line(in the 2nd half).
Their Jones talked smack to Trent and lit the fire. Even bumped him when he stood on the free throw line walkin through the lane after the game was no longer in doubt. We will see that replay 27 Feb

Really? We clearly needed a back up PG tonight. How much did he play? The last 30 seconds maybe. He has played in 10 games this year and very few meaningful minutes against quality opponents. If Underwood felt he was ready he would of certainly played tonight.
He's played 8, 9, 5 in the prior 3 games as a true freshman on a very old team. That's not by happenstance.

If you go by recruiting rankings, Michigan is a way more talented team than we are -- and it's not even close. Of course recruiting rankings aren't gospel and frequently the whole is less than the sum of the parts.
This is true. I think our edge is coaching and experience.
