I'm with you Kathy! I know Mizzou being successful from here on out would be good for our resume, but I still hope they lose every game :)

Exactly.

I realize it helps us come Selection Sunday if Mizzou has a really good season.

But I also realize that the sooner Cuonzo is exposed as the mediocre coach he is, the better. This was supposed to be Mizzou's big year -- the nation's #1 recruit, two other borderline 5* big men, a stud grad transfer in Kassius Robertson.

Unless Cuonzo goes out and gets Courtney Ramey and a big 2018 class, this season is his high mark and his best shot to get Mizzou on the national map. If he fails at that, that's a big blow for Mizzou's image. And considering we're competing with them for guys like Liddell and will compete for future recruits, the worse Mizzou is, the better.

So yeah, I'm rooting for a total Mizzou collapse.

I don' see either one of the Porters going NBA nor Tilman so we may be a bit early on writing them off for next year.

You don't think Michael Porter Jr. is going pro after this year? I think even most Mizzou fans have resigned themselves to the fact that he very likely will. He's a top-5 pick next year even if he doesn't return and play a minute.

Their two leading scorers and the two guys who gave us the most problems were Kassius Robertson and Jordan Barnett. Both are seniors.

I do agree that Tilmon and Jontay Porter will be back for another year. But considering we return virtually everybody next year -- and add Ayo -- I feel pretty good about matching up with them next year.

MPJ is a mortal lock to be an NBA early entrant in 2018, assuming his back surgery/rehab works.

Porter JR. won't be around next year. Losing Robertson and Barnett is big loss. Tilmon, will be around for next years game. I like our chances next year, although nothing si a given in this game. Glad Mark smith doesn't have to listen to any trash talk from southern illinois.

FWIW, my wife (a Mizzou grad ) didnt say anything to me until Sunday afternoon. Perhaps I was too intense and elated watching the game? Next year I hope to make it there in person, with or without her:)

ESPN3 has it on replay...for a few days more I think

Actually they seem to keep games for about 30 days as far as I can tell. You can still catch the UNLV game if you want. I am also a little confused about the distinction between ESPN 3 and Watch ESPN. When I google ESPN 3 I get Watch ESPN. Also it isn't easy to find older games, at least to me.

Unless he gets back this year and shows no ill affects I would think teams would be hesitant to draft him early. If so may be good strategy to come back and play. IMHO

Seriously doubt he’s not a top 5 pick

He can play late in this season and show up for pre-draft workouts and the combine. He won't need another year of college to show whether he's recovered.

Didn't he mention in social media that those claiming he'll be out 4 months are seriously mistaken? Sounds like he thinks he'll be back in plenty of time for the college stretch run. That'll be his opportunity to show how healthy he is.

Even if he plays a handful of games......a good performance followed by an injury-free combine should be more than enough to guarantee him a top-5 spot.

Porter Jr. won't be playing college basketball next year. I'll bet my beachfront mansion on it. One owner, barely lived in.

Was Kenmore or Maytag the manufacturer of the elite brown beachfront home?
