Just seen on Facebook that Leron Black proposed to his girlfriend after the game

Completely agree. With the roster we have need to fill those holes. Tejon needs to hit foul shots, reduce fouls, be a shot making threat. Alstork needs to be more aggressive and look for his shot as he cuts toward basket.

Curious what the +/- with Tejon, Smith, and Alstork vs Demonte, Jordan, and Frazier. The 2nd line-up seems to have more tools from defense, shooting, dribbling, pasding, rebounding.
sure...but if we want to quibble, I'd say TF needs to hit more of his layups, but I'm not quibbling.

TF earned his 2d hero status tonight (after LB as 1st hero). Defense won this game though.

This TEAM continues to improve. Won tonight with only 1 point from Jordan. You can talk individual players up or down but the way they play it takes all 9 of the them. On any night any of them could be the key. Very fun to watch. Expecting great things for the rest of the season. There will be some bumps but the arrow is always pointing up. They lost their big lead but stayed composed and ran the offense. Something that was not happening the past few years. End of game was dribble and give it to Ray Rice or Malcolm. Much better team approach that will pay dividends in future close games.

Good win. I really don’t like Martin and I thought Underwood out coached him. Missouri lacked a consistent go to option when it counted. Illinois is starting to figure it out. Frazier’s ability to shoot outside gives him the edge over Lucas. That doesn’t mean Lucas can’t improve that part of his game.

It made no sense to me in the spring for Tilman to decommit from Illinois and go to Mizzou. Following this game, it makes even less sense to me.

He was apparently suppose to be used more in their offense. He got maybe 6 touches the entire game and was never used to shoot a jump shot. I genuinely feel like he would be a lot better in our offense.

Frazier was the #24 PG on 247 last year. Harris? #25.

This is the stuff rivalries are made of. :)

I'd be whining and crying if my board was that hard to look at.

Honestly, that board looks like this one did after NMSU.

Not exactly the right thread, but NMSU is leading #6 Miami right now with 2 minutes left in the first half.

No sense in revisiting the NMSU game, but they are a better team than many here believe. Very experienced, very athletic, and they will probably be in the NCAA tournament this year.

I think Tilmon would have been the difference in some of those games we lost, he has skills and size. I actually feel bad for him that he chose Mizzou, he would have been such a bigger factor at Illinois.

Uh, let's be honest. The last 5 minutes of this game was dribble and give it to Trent Frazier.
