We had trouble having Domask and Ty on the same side of the court offensively initially. It was much easier to double Domask because he isn’t an outside threat. Ty had a great game, but having 4 other outside shooters with Domask allows Domask to be more effective. Dain is a defensive liability with the switches. Happy we got the win. That was a Ssressful game.

Goode minutes need to go DOWN dramatically. His +/- has to be atrocious. He hasn't shot the ball well in his entire tenure at Illinois. To be shooting 64% from the charity stripe is embarrassing.
not that I think he's playing great but we had 8 scholarship players tonight and Dain and Dra are barely playing and for good reason. So we had a rotation of 6, Goode has to play

Harmon is a dog. Got a little Dre' Feliz in him.
He's playing so much better than he was the first 8 games this season, it's honestly incredible. His defense was abysmal to start the season and both the eye test and analytics showed it. But he's flipped the switch since TSJ has been out. It’s a pleasure to watch. He has absolutely been a big time player for us these past few games and I'm thrilled

He plays good defense and is a 3 point threat. You can tell teams do not want him to get lean looks. He is a contributor and belo in the rotation.

MSU is talented and was desperate tonight. Izzo advertised from the NW postgame that they would come out “physical” tonight. Refs were fair, but probably allowed more contact than I can remember - which certainly aided Izzo’s goal. And Domask had a bad first half. And we won (when half the top ten lost this week). Great, great win.
