Frazier`s defense again is straight up ballin` , don`t care to look but he was in Washington`s grill after he got past them two early fouls. Curious what he did when Frazier was on him , looked like he disrupted him and the flow of Ohio State`s offense (trying to run through Washington) when on the floor.
Frazier and this teams defense is "stout" to say the least.....

This clip of the BT standings from the ESPN Illini page says it all: Illini zero games behind Michigan. It will be criminal if they can hang a banner and we can't.

BU: "Nobody has won more games than us. And we've played them all." Boom.

Boy, that charge/block call on Ayo was huge. Surprised that was a block but Curbelo drew a charge earlier, if I'm being honest.

Damonte... the ultimate glue guy. Loved his defense on Liddell. Might have to see more of that if we meet in the B1G Tournament.

Somewhere, though, Dickie V is still alone in a room, rambling about the Flying Illini to no one in particular....

Might mix it up and talk about DMW´s dad a bit too.

The Illini defense is making opponents take difficult shots on most possessions. With Ayo, Curbelo and Kofi, we are able to get good shots on a lot of possessions. You can always run into a team that gets hot and makes difficult shots. But consistently getting easier shots than your opponent is the recipe for success. Bodes well for our tournament hopes.

No offense taken. But doesn’t seem like it matters who is announcing — DV, Dakich, Bardo, Hummel, Bilas — always people complaining about the announcer in game threads. I’m not a Dickie V fan, but just turn the sound down if one doesn’t like announcer.

it looked like he was denying him the ball which seemed to keep Washington out rhythm when he did get it.

Agree , sure seemed Washington was forcing everything no doubt with Frazier in his "hip pocket" for sure.

Curbelo was the best player on the floor tonight. Crazy when we have Ayo (best in country IMO), Kofi (best big IMO), and Lidell on other team. Curbelo should be BIG player of the week, not just Freshman of the week

You know it`s that old coaches cliche ...When your shots aren`t falling on them off nights , one thing you can do is always play just as hard and if not harder on defense with the energy and communications . It is so fun watching the defense this team is playing .

Normally, yes, this probably would happen, but this year every tourney game is in Indiana... Great news for us for sure! Unfortunately the stadiums will be limited capacity so we won't be able to "paint them orange"

when Curbelo comes in with Damonte , it's like a shock to opponents. I really think our substitutions are key to keeping opponents off balance. We have a really strong bench rotation...effectively 8 starter quality players.

Eh, I don’t care. We did everything we needed to do to position ourselves for the NCAA tourney, hit our stride at the best time of the season and look attractive to recruits. Michigan had a great year and earned it. We took their lunch money and have every right to be proud as hell of this team and expect them to eat more souls in the tourneys.

You can all call me crazy, but I think we looked better the previous 3 games. Without Ayo they played better team ball. I love Ayo but there is too much watching, waiting for Ayo to do it, rather than playing team ball. I do believe this team could go all the way. AC is really special. Send Trent and Da'Monte off with a national title.
