I think it's pretty clear Belo is still doesn't have all his stamina back. I hope he can get it back soon. He can make a difference against pressure. He didn't score much but when he and Kofi can back in and Trent and Grandison got going. Great win today.

He looks rusty a little bit. He had a couple really good looks at the rim that he normally finishes but just didn't go down. Should get better as he gets his legs and feel back.

Glad that we going in the second half. With that pressure it would have been nice to have Belo in the game more. Otherwise Trent just can't take a break against that type of pressure.

Yeah he really ought to be playing 3/4 and is forced into the wrong position based on the roster.
He's no 3. He cant shoot outside of 15 feet or so. He could be a 4, but even most 4s are supposed to shoot outside sometimes. I'm a little shocked he hasn't developed an outside shot. Seems like it would be pertinent to him making to the next level.

Indiana just seemed exhausted halfway thru the second half. I don't know whether it takes more out of the opposing team by guarding us, or the way we guard them. The Illini are in incredible shape, they still looked pretty fresh, even tho the starters played a lot of minutes. This team seems to have that "it", a kind of swagger that's not overt, but very confident. The Flyin Illini had it, the DWill team had it. Nothing seems to faze them.

Not sure if it's been said yet, but if Trent Frazier does not receive all B10 recognition at the end of the year there is something seriously wrong with the voters because he has been one of the most valuable players - all while playing point almost exclusively - in all of college bball not only the B10.
Given Trent’s play on both ends, his performances in the clutch, and heart of a lion… if he’s not 1st team All-B1G, there’s no credibility to the award.

Great post. So many great things happened today that you can forget that Grandy’s two 3s are what really put us over the hump.
He only had 6 points, but those two 3’s just seemed to turn the game around.
Then Trent drops a jock on the court, drains a 3 and the team never looked back.

Love the win, but can we PLEASE.. PLEASE.. work on free throws? Those will be the difference maker in the tourney. Weird game in the 1st, but came through in the second. Great win!

Doug A. right after the game ended said to Brian B. that he thought Trent Frazier is the B1G PLAYER OF THE YEAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard him say it and I agree.........

Except the problem is he can't shoot at all from the outside. A good college center and it ends there. Kofi or no Kofi I have always thought TJD is overated.
he's not a good FT shooter either

Great show of depth today. Really wore down IU in the second half. Used a ten man rotation and the five bench players really gave some quality minutes. Didn’t even use BBV and Podz.

Once Belo comes back with increased stamina….whew!

Tuesday night is going to be a battle.
