Not so sure about DMW. He’s a senior and certainly has a clutch element to him, but he’s only 61% this year and 70% last year. Grandy, TF and Ayo would be my 3 choices. Belo has been better from line than DMW, though he has been a bit streaky.
Yea definitely Ayo if he's in the game....my choices were made with Ayo out......believe Id take DMW over Belo....even though the % for Belo might be higher....DMW being the seasoned vet would make me feel a little better
Most coaches use statistics of make these kind of decisions.
Grandison 95%, Trent 82.4%, Ayo 78%, Belo 73.3%, Miller 64.5%, Demonte 60.6%
I would go with Grandison or Trent rather than Ayo and definitelyy not Demonte.
Also Grandison and Trent hit some very clutch free throw recently while Ayo (while hurt) and Demonte have missed them.
One of the possible positive outcomes of Ayo missing a few games is that DMW has gotten involved in scoring again. During the first 11 games he had 78 points on 25 of 39 shooting. The next 11 games he only had 28 points on 8 of 21 shooting (with 4 games having 0 attempts). These last 2 he has 20 points on 7 of 13. Lets hope that continues when Ayo comes back.
I keep hearing this. I don’t care if we play ‘em in the first round. You gotta win ‘em all to win it all!
