Didn't get to see it. Box score suggests a quiet night from Leron, bad night from Malcolm, and a hero effort from Mav with 14 and 10. That right?

I think the real hero was Tracy. Was the leader tonight and made some great things happen for his teammates. Plus, those threes were pretty ;)

I think that this team is starting to show some guts. Leron and Hill not carrying everything and others step up. I like it. :chief:

Did anyone else that Hill and Tracy traveled on their 2nd half breakaways?

A win is a win. Best Mizzou go 10-8 or 12-6 in conference we are dancing.

we won 3-5. Avoid a meltdown against a Mizzou team that lost to EIU today and we've got us a pretty good non-con. Only one bad loss, every team has one it seems

Did black never come back in after picking up the quick two early in the second? If so, that's kind of odd. The 12-2 run happened with him on the bench.

For all the hem hawwing in the game thread you would think this was a different game. The Illini led for all but i think 16 seconds of the game. Yes it got close a few times including at the end but you need to remember UI was a slight underdog coming in. This is a solid win no doubt about it.

Probably going to have to take a break from the board in the first couple weeks of B1G play because I am sure most people won't actually acknowledge the schedule is very front heavy. Just looking at it I can see the team winning the final 8. The first 7 are going to contain some losses.

Even with the foul discrepancy we still pulled it out.

I know it's not going to be a popular opinion, but Malcolm has not played that well this year. He disappears too much against stronger competition and hangs 30+ on the bums. He is way too timid, and doesn't seem to be the strong senior leader the team needs.

Despite a less advanced skillset, I think TA needs the ball in his hands at the end of games because he can make more things happen passing rather than the iso ball that we devolve into when Malcolm has the ball at the end of the games. TA is better at getting others involved and now has a decent enough shot now that you have to at least pay attention to him.
