Feel like this is one of those road wins that make up/even out the home loss to Maryland or Ohio St. Need another one of these preferably against Michigan.

Proud of the team win! Because it took every guy to fight, cheer, coach, and play our way to a win! This game was ridiculous! I've never in my life seen the refs utterly dominate the game like this since we played North Carolina in the national championship game! When they fouled Augustine out!

Never at any time did I feel like this game would be won by the Illini....until DFW buried his two free throws to end the scoring.

The biggest positive was that these kids pulled together...without Ayo....and won the game in overtime with one of the most focused and intense defensive efforts ever by an Illini team.

My biggest hope is that when reviewing the game, whatever official who called Giorgi for his 5th foul will either call or write him a personal note admitting that he made an anticipation call and really did not see the play. I think that to call a personal foul in the normal course of play there needs to be at least SOME CONTACT...which was completely absent in that instance which was proven by video replay.

Finally, I will say this. I think this game was won by the coaching staff and in game strategy.....utilizing one of the most imaginative and well executed OB plays in the final 30 seconds with a two point lead.

Real Question: Why doesn't Kofi just dunk it every time? No one could do anything about it.
Dakich had a pretty good breakdown of this tonight.

As I recall, he just doesn't have his legs under him enough.

Tonight was the best Ive seen him at using his power.

There is some SERIOUS coaching behind Kofi's new moves under the rim. Kofi is getting explosive. Someone said that the move was filthy. Loved that. How do you guard that?!?!?
I agree. I posted at halftime that I didn't think he was explosive enough to do that and maybe we were expecting him to do more than he's capable. Well.....now we know. He can do it. He knows he can do it. Need to see it every night out and we could be in for a great February, March and hopefully April.

Ayo no-showed. Hate to say it
He has trouble when they double him on top and force him left. His 5th foul the official should come to the locker room and apologize. It just does not get any worse, oh wait the 5th on GB was even worse.

This game has to be looked at by the BIG. On ESPN, both announcers basically embarrassed for the refs. How can the BIG allow this to continue?

someone said the National Championship game was officiated worse, it was officiated worse regarding one sided towards May doing whatever he wanted. But this? This was totally ineptitude on both sides. Those 3 refs were the worst I have ever seen. I would be upset if I was an IU fan to loose the game, but what can you do just call a foul on every possession? It was simply terrible. I hope the director of officials is called out by ESPN for this display of total inability to allow a game to occur?

Great gutsy win tonight without Ayo doing much at all- if we lost, it would have been really tough to stomach with the officials down the stretch

now it’s just comical how bad they were
