His grace and magnanimity in defeat are overwhelming.
When I saw these guys put their arms around each other, my first thought was they’re TOGETHER! Second thought was: I’ve got to get a pic of this even though I was far away with just my iPhone. All the players standing in the huddle also had their arms around each other each time out. After all the conjecture and strife, my old cynical heart was also warmed…In case you couldn't tell from the avatar, pics like this just warm my old cynical heart. What a great game!

State is currently 48. Right now it’s Q2They are around 26-30
So I think it’s a Q1 win.
Yeah I’ve got no sympathy for MSU fans in general, but especially about how a game is called when they get called on their mauling.I was surprised to see this. For the past few years, MSU seems to play like…they can’t call fouls on us every time, so be very physical. Figured fans would be aware of us but I guess just denial, probably saying every team fouls and should be even number of calls.
It was eight guys last night and Rodgers only got 8 minutesOnly concern I have. I like having a 7 or 8 man rotation. The players get their Tic and get into Flo of the game and seem to play better overall. Going 9 and 10 doesn't do it!
Hope he can get more minutes going forwardIt was eight guys last night and Rodgers only got 8 minutes
They were at the game last night, so should be entertaining.Search Sleepers Media on youtube…
I don’t think they’ve posted on last night’s game yet, but, yes, their take might be interesting. They’re usually pretty complimentary about our program.
Did you hear the TV announcers? They said Izzo studies the assigned officials and uses that knowledge in his game plan. With this crew he instructed his players to attack the rim looking for contact as he believed it would benefit the Spartans. Not arguing, you may be right, but, CBS sports app has it attributed to BU.
Fouls:
Start to Izzo T: ILL-1, MSU 3
Izzo T to BU T: ILL-6, MSU-2
BU T to end: ILL-3, MSU-12
Legit part of foul discrepancy is one team practices with football pads on and plays like it; but, still hard to see that and not think refs can be influenced.
And please teach Sencire.Elite win, noice. Dainja must have picked up some pointers from Kevin Durant's style of shooting free throws. If not, keep on what your doing, DD, 'cause it's working.

I sat in front of him at the Wisconsin game. He did nothing but scream for Sincire to be in the game when he wasn’t.Does anyone know who the dark haired guy is that's always directly behind the announcers table.Just wondered if it's one of ya'll.
Wait, wait, wait...I must be reading this wrong. Did Sencire Harris try and check himself back into the game? Like he just decided, f-it, I'm good? That would be one of the most baller moves ever. Also big thanks to Pru for once again providing a summary of the radio postgame interview. Much appreciated
I don't know verbatim , but BU said , " Oh, to be 22 again "........probably had something to do with MM and crew's post game celebrations .....I did not...please share

Yep, you're right...and agreed - it got wonky out there in the first when he wasn't in, mostly on defense.Certainly agree the BU/Mayer relationship is evolving and improving, but I think you meant put Mayer back in with 2 fouls in first half since he didn’t pick up his third foul until second half. Though I think putting him back in had a lot to do with necessity. Hawk wasn’t scoring, Shannon had cooled off, Epps wasn’t doing much offensively — they needed Mayer’s firepower in there.
Mayer reminds me of chain saw, but with less angst.Mayer is quirkiest Illini guy I can ever remember. He is an absolute goofball but a clear leader of this team and maybe if he doesn’t speak up a few weeks back who knows what happens.
There are two rows next to the announcers, he would be in the front row starting with the actual fixed seats if that makes sense. he was also 30 minutes late and loudly proclaimed he thought the game started at 1. So I’ve wanted to know since then who he was out of curiosity. He’s a big Sencire fan! More like “hey Brad, put Harris in” over and over. I like the kid tooDoesn't he sit in the front row?

This seems like just another part of doing your homework as part of your job.Make no mistake… Underwood does this too. He and Beliema have both made comments about knowing which crews are officiating and how to game plan accordingly.
Looks more like a Domino's type guy to me.......doubt he would survive the Pizza Hut surrounding's on a late night weekend with the rowdies out and aboot........................Billy looks like he lives at the Pizza Hut
Thank you. I thought they were higher.Sparty was 41 but after the loss is now 48 in the NET rankings. We moved from 26 to 24 in NET.
